The Farm
Back in the day, Rockland County was filled with numerous farms. As the years passed, demand for housing increased, and farmland gradually transformed into residential developments, leading to the loss of many farms. West Maple Farm stands as one of the last remaining agricultural treasures in Monsey, NY — a flourishing 15-acre piece of paradise preserved for farming purposes.
Owner Zev Oster — formerly a Manhattan diamond dealer — left the city to pursue his lifelong passion for farming and beekeeping. Today, West Maple Farm is a thriving family farm, welcoming thousands of visitors from across Rockland County every season, and continuing its mission to preserve agriculture in the region.
Our farm spans 15 acres of rich agricultural land situated in the very heart of Rockland County. The farm welcomes visitors to come and enjoy its offerings. We cultivate vegetables for U-Pick and have a variety of farm animals you can meet. Additionally, we provide educational hayrides, refreshments, and designated spaces for picnicking and playing.
